The Bat Bites

From the suburbs of Rotterdam hail the Bat Bites. They might be considered the new kids on the block, but the 3 boys and one girl have been kicking it for awhile now. They used to be called Zymotics, but that band name sucked. One of them is a steady Apers band member, one of them a steady Apers stand-in and one of them dates Ox Accelerator! Oh yeah, one of them writes poetry and one of them drives touring cars around... Anyway, they play super tight, super catchy poppunk, with cool vocals and hooks. Their ‘Creatures Of The Night’ EP was a massive hit in Japan and Lekkerkerk.

THE BAT BITES - MZ37 - CD - S/T
After many years the wait is over! What started in 2010 with the release of the 'Creatures Of The Night' EP (MZ#4) now continues! The Bat Bites from Rotterdam (NL) return to the scene with their debut full-length record. 13 songs, produced by Speechless (Windowsill, Zatopeks, Apers). A perfect mix of old and new school poppunk. Teen Idols, Ramones, Against Me and Copyrights come to mind. Mixed boy/girl vocals, double trouble guitars, it's all good! Artwork by the great Merel Schaap and Ivo Backbreaker, guest vocal appearance by Kurt Baker and mastered by Justin Perkins. Feel free to call it a poppunk masterpiece and tell your friends! Bat Bites are gonna getchaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
